Amara Sood is an undergraduate student at New York University Abu Dhabi, pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. She is interested in finance and investment, particularly in understanding how large institutional investors make investment decisions across different markets. At the Transition Investment Lab, she has worked on research related to sovereign wealth funds and analysing their investment activity. Her academic interests span financial markets, private capital, and the growing role of technology in finance. She enjoys approaching problems quantitatively and is particularly interested in combining financial analysis with data to understand markets and investment decisions.
